Foreign investors flock to Belgium, shun Japan
According to the Conference of United Nations for Trade and Development, the year 2010 saw a 50% increase over 2009 in inward investments to Belgium, representing a total value of € 38 billion. This was one of the best results for European countries which recorded a fall of 20% overall.
Japan however saw a decrease of no less than 83.4% in inward investments compared to the year before.
