Materialise honoured with prestigious NIPPON EXPORT AWARD 2011-2012

 

The Belgian Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Japan is pleased to announce that the Nippon Export Award 2011-2012 was given to Materialise Japan. Every two years the Nippon Export Award goes to the company demonstrating the greatest success in importing, exporting, or distributing products or services with Japan from Belgium or Luxembourg.
 
“Materialise Japan won this year’s Nippon Export award because it was definitely the strongest contender, exceeding the criteria set by the Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce Japan,” said Fabrice Tilot, President of The Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Japan. “Materialise Japan has seen consistent growth of its position on the Japanese market with innovative solutions in Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing). They supply to major Japanese car & consumer goods manufacturers. The members of the jury were impressed by the product localization efforts specific for Japan, their focus on customer satisfaction and the huge potential for further expansion.”

The 2011-2012 Nippon Export Award ceremony was held on December 19, 2011 at the Embassy of Belgium in Tokyo, Japan.
