Soudal, Hamon win 'Company of the year 2011' Award
On October 11th, Belgian Prime minister Yves Leterme announced the winner of the 17th edition of the 'Company of the year 2011' election in Flanders and Wallonia, Belgium.
With this award, the organizer Ernst & Young rewards successful Belgian companies for their excellent growth and sense for innovation, entrepreneurship, strategy and management.
Among all finalists, Soudal NV and its founder Vic Swerts came out on top. Soudal NV is Europe’s leading independent manufacturer of sealants, PU-Foams and adhesives.
The other nominees were Arseus, Waterleau and Willy Naessens Group.
On the Walloon side, Hamon took home the award. Hamon is a world player in engineering and contracting of cooling systems, process heat exchangers, air pollution control and chimneys. The other nominees there were BIA Overseas, Daoust, Lampiris and Pranarom.
